We’re transforming our Food business across Ireland, protecting everything customers love about M&S while building a simpler, faster and more efficient supply chain. From launching new products to supporting major trading events, our team plays a critical role in ensuring customers can find the products they want, when they want them.

The Ireland Supply Chain team sits at the heart of the business, connecting stores, support centre teams and suppliers to drive great outcomes for customers. It’s a fast-paced environment where you’ll have the opportunity to influence decisions, solve problems and make a visible impact across the operation.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage stock and availability across Ireland, ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
  • Use data, insight and trading knowledge to forecast demand and respond quickly to changes in customer behaviour.
  • Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver strong service, availability and waste performance.
  • Support key seasonal events, promotions and new product launches across Ireland.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, taking action to protect sales and improve operational performance.
  • Build strong relationships across Commercial, Retail, Supply Chain and Support Centre teams to drive the best outcomes for customers and the business.
  • Partner closely with UK Supply Chain teams, sharing insight, influencing decisions and ensuring Ireland’s priorities are represented.
  • Spend time in store to understand operational challenges and bring customer and colleague insight into planning decisions.
  • Bring a growth mindset to everyday challenges, identifying opportunities to improve processes, simplify ways of working and deliver better results.
  • Drive continuous improvement, challenging existing processes and helping shape how we work in the future.

Who You Are

  • Experience in supply chain, planning, forecasting, replenishment or a related analytical role.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to balance customer, operational and business priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence using data to inform decisions and identify opportunities.
  • A natural relationship-builder who can work effectively across functions and build credibility with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Comfortable influencing and collaborating with colleagues across both Ireland and UK Supply Chain teams.
  • Curious and adaptable, with a growth mindset and a desire to continuously learn, improve and challenge the status quo.
  • Organised, resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Passionate about delivering great outcomes for customers and colleagues.
