Technical Fit Designer – Women’s Sweaters
We are seeking a Technical Fit Designer with experience in women’s sweaters to support product development from concept through production. This role works closely with design, production, and overseas vendors to ensure all garments meet fit, quality, and construction standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in fit sessions, evaluating garment fit, balance, and construction
- Communicate clear, detailed fit comments to factories and follow through on revisions
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product vision is maintained while achieving proper fit
- Review and approve samples (proto, SMS, TOP) prior to bulk production
- Identify and resolve fit or construction issues related to knitwear and yarn behavior
- Maintain consistency in fit across styles and size ranges
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of technical design experience, preferably in women’s sweaters or knitwear
- Strong understanding of garment construction and fit for sweaters
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in problem-solving
