Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Weekend Front Desk Manager & Salon Assistant with a cosmetology license to oversee the daily weekend operations of our front desk and stylist team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining efficient front desk operations while supporting the stylist and makeup team. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks and cosmetology skills while fostering a positive environment for both staff and guests.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the weekend front desk team, ensuring high standards of customer service are met at all times.
Support the stylist and makeup artist team.
Provide back-up sytlist support and perform blow outs in urgent situations (updo’s a plus).
Manage cash register operations.
Oversee weekend salon management tasks including scheduling shifts and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
Train new staff members on company policies, procedures, and sales techniques.
Interview new candidates.
Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
Option available for weekday stylist schedule, if desired.
Skills
Cosmetology permit or license.
Proven customer service experience in fast-paced environments
Salon experience required
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in store management or similar retail environments is preferred.
Ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining operational standards.
