About the Position
We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, and highly engaging Live Sales Host to represent our growing baby apparel business on Whatnot.
This person will be the face and voice of our live shopping experience, showcasing and selling baby clothing while interacting with customers in real time. The ideal candidate loves being on camera, has a natural sales personality, and knows how to keep an audience engaged.
You do not need prior Whatnot experience—we are willing to train the right person. What matters most is your personality, energy, communication skills, and ability to sell.
Responsibilities
- Host live shopping shows on Whatnot, primarily featuring baby clothing and accessories
- Present products in an enthusiastic, engaging, and professional manner
- Demonstrate products and clearly explain features, sizing, colors, styles, and value
- Engage with viewers through live chat and answer questions in real time
- Create excitement and urgency around products, promotions, and limited quantities
- Encourage viewers to purchase and increase average order value
- Build relationships with repeat customers and develop a loyal audience
- Help plan and organize products before each livestream
- Keep the livestream energetic and entertaining throughout the show
- Monitor sales performance and work toward weekly and monthly sales goals
- Help develop new ideas to improve livestream performance and customer engagement
- Assist with basic setup, merchandising, and organization of products before and after live shows
What We’re Looking For
- Energetic, outgoing personality
- Comfortable speaking to a camera and being the center of attention
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Natural salesperson who enjoys talking to people
- Ability to think quickly and respond comfortably in a live environment
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently while being part of a team
- Interested in fashion, baby products, social media, livestreaming, or e-commerce
- Previous sales, retail, social media, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or livestream experience is a plus
- Previous Whatnot experience is a major plus, but not required
Performance Bonus
In addition to the $23/hour base pay, this position is eligible for a monthly performance-based bonus.
Bonus opportunities will be based on factors such as:
- Total livestream sales
- Sales growth
- Customer engagement
- Number of orders
- Repeat customers
- Overall livestream performance
The better you perform, the greater your earning potential.
Hours
Monday–Thursday: 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
This is a 32-hour-per-week position with a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule.
