Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylists and Makeup Artists to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of makeup application techniques, color theory, and customer service skills. As a Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional makeup services to clients, ensuring their satisfaction while also promoting additional services.
Responsibilities
Apply makeup for various occasions, including special events, photoshoots, and everyday looks.
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable makeup styles.
Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to create complementary looks tailored to individual skin tones.
Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, and hair styling when appropriate.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Perform hair threading as needed to enhance clients’ overall appearance.
Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their needs effectively.
Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques to continuously improve skills.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Makeup Artist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
Strong knowledge of cosmetology principles and practices.
Proficiency in various makeup application techniques, including special effects if applicable.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Ability to sanitize tools and maintain hygiene standards consistently.
Familiarity with hair styling techniques is a plus.
Experience in body waxing is desirable but not mandatory.
A passion for beauty and an eye for detail are essential for success in this role.
