We are seeking a highly connected and results-driven Apparel Business Development & Licensing Manager to expand our partnerships with major entertainment, lifestyle, sports, and consumer br

ands.
The ideal candidate already has established relationships with leading brands and licensing organizations such as The Walt Disney Company, Star Wars, Marvel, Nike, Warner Bros., Universal, and similar global companies. This individual will be responsible for opening doors, securing licensing opportunities, and positioning our company as a trusted apparel manufacturing pa

rtner.This is a senior business-development role for someone who understands how major brands select licensees, apparel partners, and manufacturers—and who has the relationships and experience to help us enter those pro

grams.

    Develop and execute a business-development strategy focused on major brands, licensors, licensees, retailers, and entertainment co
  • mpanies.Leverage existing industry relationships to secure introductions and meetings with key decision
  • -makers.Identify and pursue apparel licensing, private-label, and manufacturing opport
  • unities.Position the company as a reliable manufacturing and product-development partner for licensed and branded apparel p
  • rograms.Manage opportunities from initial introduction through proposal, negotiation, onboarding, and program
  • launch.Build relationships with licensing executives, sourcing teams, product-development leaders, buyers, and brand-managemen
  • t teams.Navigate vendor-approval, licensing, compliance, and factory-qualification pr
  • ocesses.Work with internal design, production, merchandising, sourcing, and executive teams to develop competitive pr
  • oposals.Attend licensing shows, apparel trade shows, retail meetings, and industry
  • events.Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective partners and provide regular forecasts and progress
  • reports.Negotiate partnership terms in collaboration with company leadership and legal
  • counsel.Monitor market trends and identify new licensing categories, brand collaborations, and growth opport

Required Quali

  • fications
    At least 7–10 years of business-development, licensing, sales, or partnership experience within the apparel
  • industry.Proven experience working with major brands, licensors, licensees, retailers, or entertainment
  • companies.Established relationships with decision-makers at organizations such as Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Nike, Warner Bros., Universal, or comparable glob
  • al brands.Demonstrated success securing licensing agreements, manufacturing programs, private-label business, or strategic brand par
  • tnerships.Strong understanding of apparel manufacturing, product development, costing, sourcing, production timelines, and quality req
  • uirements.Knowledge of licensing approvals, royalty structures, brand guidelines, compliance requirements, and vendor o
  • nboarding.Excellent presentation, negotiation, relationship-management, and executive communicati
  • on skills.Ability to independently build a pipeline and convert relationships into revenue-generating par
  • tnerships.Willingness to travel for client meetings, presentations, trade shows, and indust

ry events.
