J.A. Uniforms designs and manufactures creative uniform programs for the hospitality industry. Currently we have an entry level position available for a Full-Time Design Assistant.
Below are the responsibilities and qualifications for the Entry-Level Design Assistant position.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with design team to develop graphics and/or fashion design concepts that meet client brand guidelines.
· Assist in creating visually compelling designs for marketing materials, company website, product packaging, apparel, and more.
· Execute design revisions and iterations based on feedback from the JA uniforms team or a client.
· Maintain a strong understanding of current design trends and industry standards.
· Prepare design files for production, ensuring accurate color and sizing specifications.
· Support the team in organizing and archiving design assets for easy accessibility.
Qualifications:
· A degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
· Understanding and an interest in textiles, sewing, garment construction, draping, and pattern drafting.
· Understanding and and interest in design principles, layout, and typography.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
· A passion for design and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Note: A portfolio showcasing previous work will be required during the application process.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
