Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair care services to our clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and more. Your creativity and passion for hair styling will shine through as you help our clients achieve their desired look.
Duties:
– Perform hair styling services such as cutting, trimming, and shaping hair
– Provide hair coloring services including highlights, lowlights, and full color treatments
– Offer hair treatments such as deep conditioning and scalp massages
– Perform hair threading and other hair removal techniques
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling
– Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and preferences
– Offer guidance and advice to clients on hair care and maintenance
– Maintain a clean and organized work station
– Assist with store management tasks such as inventory management and retail sales
– Collaborate with other team members to create a positive and welcoming salon environment
Skills:
– Strong knowledge of hair styling techniques and trends
– Proficiency in hair threading, barbering, and straight razor techniques
– Familiarity with color theory and the ability to create customized color formulations
– Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
– Strong communication skills to effectively understand clients’ needs and preferences
– Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced salon environment
– Knowledge of retail math for product sales and inventory management
– Experience mentoring junior stylists or assisting with training programs
